This near brand new Model 1886 Extra Lightweight Takedown Rifle has beaded Lyman blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights, standard late production Winchester markings including the factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver, 3/4 magazine tube, attractive straight grain walnut forearm and buttstock and Winchester hard rubber shotgun buttplate. The Model 1886 was one of the finest and strongest lever actions built by Winchester, and this beautiful, extremely high condition example is chambered in .45-70 Government, the most popular chambering offered in the Model 1886 line.
