The rod measures 27 1/8 inches when assembled and disassembles in order to fit within the storage compartment in a Henry Rifle. The sections thread together using three pairs of iron connectors, and the cleaning end has four recesses.

Very good overall with gray and brown patina on the iron and minor age and storage related wear on the wood. These scarce rods are key accessories for Henry Rifle owners.
