Manufactured in 1927. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the model, Winchester trade mark and caliber designation and the right rear is marked with the two-line address. The top of the barrel and receiver are marked with the Winchester oval proof at the breech. The upper tang is marked "WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK/MADE IN U.S.A." and the serial number is on the bottom of the receiver. It has a pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights, saddle ring staple and ring on the left side of the receiver with tassel and is mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel carbine buttplate.

Excellent. The carbine retains 90% plus of the original blue finish with some flaking on the receiver, a few areas of fading and mostly a brown patina on the buttplate. The wood is excellent with a few slight dings and light abrasions. Mechanically excellent with clear markings.
