Manufactured in 1869 and falling into the second model serial number range with a single tang screw and the serial number stamped behind the trigger. The barrel has the two-line Winchester legend. The sights consists of a blade integral band and two leaf rear sight. The bolt remains in its original rimfire configuration. Saddle ring is mounted on the left side of the receiver. The carbine stock is fitted with a trapdoor brass buttplate. Comes with a three piece cleaning rod.

Very good. The barrel and magazine tube have a dark mottled patina. The fine brass has an attractively aged mustard yellow appearance. The wood is very good with chipping at the lower tang and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
