Receiver manufactured in 1918. The no. 3 barrel has the Winchester legend on the left flat, windgauge adjustable globe front sight, filler block in the rear sight dovetail, and reproduction W. Malcolm 6x scope on a windage and elevation adjustable mount. A mid-range Vernier tang sight is installed. Takedown frame, double set triggers, spur lever and highly figured perch belly pistol grip stock with checkering, raised cheekpiece, hard rubber Winchester grip cap, ebony forend tip insert and nickel plated Swiss buttplate.

Very good as period custom upgraded/refinished, retaining 97% of the blue finish showing some high edge wear. The barrel is sleeved. 99% plus nickel plating remains on the buttplate. The wood is fine showing a couple hairline stress cracks on the forearm, otherwise limited handling evidence and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
