Manufactured in 1897. Brass blade front sight, folding leaf rear sight and tang mounted short range peep sight. The top barrel flat ahead of the rear sight is marked with the two line address, the left rear upper flat is marked with the two line nickel steel, smokeless powder marking, and the top flat at the breech is marked "30 W.C.F." The serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame. Blue finish with casehardened hammer, buttplate and lever. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm with a steel end cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Fine with 50% original blue finish remaining showing some edge and high point wear and areas of smooth artificial brown patina on the barrel. Strong traces of muted original case colors remain on the hammer and lever, and the buttplate has a smooth mottled gray patina. The reoiled wood is also fine with some scattered minor dents and dings. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
