This .56 caliber bullet mold has cavities for casting both round balls and conical bullets for use in Colt Model 1855 revolving rifles. It is marked "COLTS/PATENT" and has a blued steel body, walnut handles, and brass bolsters.

Fine with a 60% dark blend of original military style blue finish, dark patina, and some minor marks and scratches on the body; some minor scratches and smooth original oiled finish on the handles, and attractive aged patina on the brass. This would be excellent for pairing with an appropriate Colt Model 1855 revolving rifle.
