Per Colt, the revolvers were manufactured in 1862 (A) and 1863 (B). They both have the standard markings and features, including matching numbers (no arbor pin number on B). They come in a hardwood case with a cartridge pack, Colt bullet mold, single sided eagle pocket powder flask, lead balls, spare nipple and spring, and an Eley cap tin.

Very good-fine with 25% original blue finish, traces of original silver plating and case colors, mostly smooth gray and brown patina on the balance of the steel, aged patina on the brass, slight pitting, and mild scratches and marks. The grip appears to have added varnish, is very good, and has some wear in the varnish on the left and minor edge wear. Mechanically excellent.

Fine with 70% original blue finish on the barrel, 20% original blue on the cylinder, vibrant original case colors on the hammer and loading lever, lighter original case colors on the frame, 20% original silver plating concentrated around the trigger guard bow and under the grip, aged patinas on the silver and brass, smooth gray patina on most of the balance of the steel, some minor oxidation, and light scratches and dings. The grip is very good showing 50% aged varnish and has moderate edge and handling wear and some minor dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The relined case and accessories are very good with mild storage related wear.
