Winchester markings on the upper tang and number "54" on internal front face of frame, rear of forend, and bottom of barrel. The barrel is marked "R.F. SEDGLEY INC. PHILA PA. USA." and "CAL .22 W.C.F./HORNET". Lyman 17A globe front and Lyman 103 tang mounted peep sights, and 9 inch matted rib for mounting scope. Mounted in a checkered walnut pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, sling swivels and checkered shotgun buttplate.

Very fine as period customized by Sedgley with 98% blue finish overall with the barrel turning an attractive plum and a few light handling marks. The wood is very good with numerous minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
