Description:

Manufactured from 1896 to 1916. Globe front sight, filler block in the rear sight seat, Vernier short range tang sight, 44 1/2 action. The upper right barrel flat is marked with the two-line address, and the upper left barrel flat is marked "28.30." The barrel is numbered to the gun. Straight grip stock with Swiss buttplate.

Rating Definition:

The barrel retains 90% plus original blue finish with thinning on the balance. The receiver retains 85% original case colors while patterns of original case colors remain on the lever and buttplate. The wood is excellent showing scattered minor handling marks and retaining most of the finish.
