One of around 3,100 manufactured in this caliber in the 1870s-1882. It has the standard marking stamped on the left side of the top strap, matching serial numbers (cylinder pin, frame, and cylinder), and scroll engraving.

Very fine with 90% plus original nickel plating, strong case colors on the hammer, some minor edge wear, a patch of light pitting on the cylinder, crisp engraving and markings, and light handling and storage type wear. Mechanically fine.
