Probably built by William Morton of Dublin, Ireland, active from 1768-1802, later in his career. Features a just under 1 3/4 inch muzzle opening, roughly 12 gauge main bore, no visible barrel markings, "MORTON" on the lock, and brass furniture.

Fine overall with mottled gray patina and mild pitting on the lock and tang, attractive aged patina on the brass, typical marks and scratches on the very fine wood and metal, and some small flakes in the stock. Mechanically fine.
