The lock has "LONDON" on the tail and St. Edward's crown at the center. The barrel has an ordnance proof visible on the upper left at the breech. The bore is estimated above and flares out to approximately 1 3/8 inches at the muzzle.

Fair with dark artificial brown patina on the reconverted and remarked lock, aged patina on the brass, absent screw at the tail of the side plate, repairs and chips in the stock, and mild overall wear. Mechanically fair.
