Manufactured from 1868 to 1875. This example has a period floral scroll engraving on a matte background covering much of the surface. The right grip panel is numbered to the gun. Matching assembly marks are found on the grip frame, cylinder and barrel.

Fine as embellished, retaining 80% plus of the nickel plating on the frame and barrel. The cylinder has 50% with flaking and one spot of old corrosion. The engraving is crisp. The grips are fine showing minor handling marks and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
