Manufactured in 1879. Standard S&W markings and matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. Comes with a period correct box stamped "NICKEL/PLATED" on the bottom.

Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with flaking on the balance. Vibrant original case colors remain on the hammer. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with minor wear, couple tears on the bottom and missing partition walls.
