Contoured, casehardened box lock action with full coverage rose and scroll engraving, "crown/V" proofs on the water table, sculpted fences, side clips, dual triggers, and automatic sliding tang safety with secondary safety lock. Checkered forearm with engraved fittings, Anson push button latch, and pistol grip stock with horn grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and checkered buttplate over a rubber pad. Length of pull is 15 inches. With Leather bound takedown case embossed "W.E. PEASE/MOWDEN/DARLINGTON/ENGLAND" with Daniel Fraser interior trade label, and cleaning rod heads.

Fine. The barrels have 90% plus original blue finish overall with sharp markings, distinct engraving, and some light edge wear. The receiver has strong patterns of original case colors in the protected areas with balance a smooth gray patina with some wear on the trigger guard. The refinished wood is good with an applied dark stain and varnish, numerous dings, and added pad. The action is a bit off face, otherwise mechanically fine.
