Manufactured from 1909 to 1923. Pinned blade and fully adjustable "U" notch sights, standard S&W markings and extended S&W medallion checkered grips. Matching serial numbers are on the front strap, barrel, barrel latch and right grip. Comes with the original numbered lavender colored factory box.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes showing minimal handling marks, "HCM" hand marked on the grip butt, and crisp grip checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with split lid corners, repaired tear on the interior of the lid and staining. Nearly all of the end label remains. A high condition Third Model Single Shot Pistol with original numbered box that will make a great addition to any S&W collection.
