Manufactured in 1961/62. 4-screw frame and left side of grip frame marked with a factory January 1975 return date ("1 75"), "R-Bi" factory refinishing marking and the name "Cattanach." From the John Ross collection, author of the bestselling novel "Unintended Consequences".

Very fine as factory refinished, retaining 95% of the blue finish with some muzzle wear, pitting on frame under grips, cylinder drag line and general handling evidence. The later style target stocks were likely added at the time of refinishing, and are excellent showing limited handling evidence. Mechanically excellent.
