Manufactured in 1920. Single red bead (mid bead absent) sight on the matte, vent rib barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, ejector, standard serial number and grade marking on the jewelled flat, and full choke. The casehardened receiver features full coverage, fine, floral and scroll engraving surrounding gold and silver inlaid scenes of a trap shooter on the right, and a Native American with a bow on the left. The underside is engraved with an American bald eagle. The tangs and trigger guard are engraved to match. Fancy figured, fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forearm with engraved fittings (even the interior of the forearm has light engraving!), matching serial number, and straight grip stock with matching fancy checkering, high comb, and vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches. Extra barrel is 30 inches with a vent rib, matching serial number, dual white bead sights, 2 3/4 inch chamber with ejector, and full choke.

Fine. The barrel has been professionally restored with 95% of the blue finish on the barrel, some evidence of light pitting (under the blue) around the muzzle, scattered surface scratches, and some small dings. The receiver has a mostly gray patina with 30% original muted case colors in the protected areas, slightly soft details on the inlaid figures, and well defined engraving. The refinished wood is also fine with some hairline cracks at the rear of the forearm, small scattered dings, crisp, freshened checkering, and attractive figure. Mechanically excellent.
