Manufactured in 1952. Dual bead sights on the matte, vent rib barrels with standard markings and Belgian proofs. With 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, and improved modified/full chokes. The silver/gray receiver features full coverage, deep cut floral and scroll engraving surrounding detailed game scenes of ducks on the right, pheasants on the left, a pair of pigeons on the underside and pheasants on the trigger guard. Single gold washed trigger and tang mounted safety/selector switch. The left side scene is signed "V. DOYEN". Multi-point checkered forearm with matching engraved fittings and fancy figured round knob pistol grip buttstock with vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 inches. With Browning takedown case.

Very fine. 95% original blue finish remains on the barrels with some visible edge wear, small nicks and scratches and handling marks. The receiver has some faint spotting, sharp engraving, and wear on the trigger. The refinished wood is fine with well defined checkering, some small bubbles and runs around the upper tang, and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with exterior storage marks and light staining on the interior.
