Manufactured in 1939. "KING" marked front sight ramp with interchangeable (King blade installed) front sight blade, reflecting mirror and fully adjustable rear notch sights. Standard barrel and frame markings. The rifled barrel is fitted with a muzzle brake inscribed "LEWIS STABILIZER/PAT. APPLIED FOR". Fitted with a checkered trigger, and finely checkered King cockeyed hammer. Fancy checkered right hand thumbrest target grips.

Very fine as period customized. 80% original blue finish remains with edge and high point wear, small scratches, and a small patch of mild pitting/oxidation on the right side of the barrel. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
