Manufactured in 1989, this beautiful pair of engraved gold inlaid Colt Python revolvers commemorate the Centennial of the State of Washington. This revolver features the same floral scroll with punch dot and leaf design engraving, and gold inlay accents and bordering as "B" gun with the addition of floral scroll engraving on the right side of the ejector shroud instead of the inscription. In addition the crane is decorated with a wooded lake scene and the left side of the frame has a Fort Canby State Park scene with a gold inlaid lighthouse. The right side of the frame below the cylinder is a gold inlaid American Goldfinch, (Washington State bird), and a plains scene with a gold inlaid fort. Fitted with the same designed grips as "B" with a Killer Whale on the right side and the image of Isaac Stevens, the first Governor of the Washington Territory, (December 3, 1853 - August 11 1857), and brass butt plate. The pair are complete with a Colt Custom Shop walnut display case with a Colt Custom medallion on the lid and red fitted velvet lining.

Near new with only slight handling/storage marks overall and a very light cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured in 1989, this revolver features floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel at the muzzle and breech ends, on the side of each barrel rib, frame, trigger guard and top of the back strap, The cylinder flutes and flats are decorated with a leaf design with gold inlaid accents. The standard left side barrel marking is flanked by decorative gold inlaid wire designs, the address on the right side of the barrel has a gold inlaid border around it and there is gold inlaid wire bordering on the frame. In addition the crane has an engraved mountain scene, the left side of the frame has a forest/mountain scene with a gold inlaid Mount Rainier. The right side of the frame ahead of the cylinder is decorated with a rhododendron, (Washington State flower) with a punch dot background, below the cylinder is a gold inlaid Salmon amid the floral scroll and on the right rear is a scene of the Grand Coulee Dam with gold inlaid water flowing over it. The right side of the ejector shroud is engraved "Washington Centennial 1889-1989". The revolver is fitted with a pair of grips with a checkered panel on the lower portion with a scrimshawed image of Indian Chief Seattle with "SEATTLE" in a banner under the image and there is an American Bald Eagle on the left side. There is a polished brass butt plate with the image of George Washington in the center and "STATE OF WASHINGTON/1889" around it.

Near new with a light drag line on the cylinder and only light handling/storage marks overall. The grips are excellent with a small pieced in repair on the left side heel and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with a few minor scuffs on the exterior. This is a fantastic pair of consecutively serial numbered engraved and gold inlaid Colt Python revolvers.
