The included factory letter confirms the current configuration of the revolvers including the rosewood grips, the unique serial numbers "44TEXAN" and "45TEXAN", and that the revolvers are chambered in .44 Special and .45 ACP respectively. The grips are hand numbered to each gun and marked "HAND MADE BY/D.C." The letter also confirms the rosewood display case that holds both revolvers and that they were shipped to North Texas Wholesale in Stratford, Texas on 26 January 1995 in order number 4710. Also includes the purchase order (copy) for both revolvers and Colt Custom Gun Shop memo (copy) referencing the calibers and special serial numbers.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original nickel finish with a few light handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.
