Manufactured in 1975 and subsequently masterfully embellished by John Adams Sr. of Adams & Adams Custom Engraving. It is entirely gold plated and shows almost 100% coverage class "D" floral scroll engraving. The engraving is signed "J. ADAMS" on the front of the frame. The screws, trigger, extractor rod, and cylinder pin are all nitre blue and the grips are giraffe bone with gold Colt medallions. Includes a glass top display case. Comes with an Adams & Adams letter listing this revolver as engraved by John Adams Sr. with "C" American scroll engraving, gold plating and giraffe bone grips and finished in February 2018.

Very fine overall as master embellished by John Adams Sr., retains 99% gold finish with a few light handling marks and traces of a cylinder drag line. The grips show some hairline age cracks under the protective layer as typical of giraffe bone. Mechanically very good, may need some minor adjustment. The case is near mint with only the slightest handling/storage marks.
