Manufactured in 1976 and subsequently masterfully embellished in 2011 by John Adams Sr. of Adams & Adams Custom Engravers. It shows 75% coverage class "C" floral scroll engraving. It is signed "J. ADAMS" on the front of the frame. The frame, grip straps, and ejector housing are gold plated, the cylinder, barrel, and hammer are blued with gold inlaid bands at the muzzle, breech, and rear of the cylinder, and the hammer has a gold inlaid border. The screws are nitre blue. The included letter of authentication from Adams & Adams confirms the engraving and finishes, as well as the smooth grips with gold colt medallions. A wonderfully embellished piece perfect for any Colt collection.

Very fine overall as master embellished by John Adams Sr., retains 99% plus gold and blue finishes with only the slightest handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
