Manufactured in 1967. Engraved with fine floral scroll and raised 24 kt. gold cattle brands with gold bands at the muzzle, barrel base, and front and rear of the cylinder. Signed "J. ADAMS" on the front of the frame. The included Adams & Adams letter states it is the "1st one like it Master engraved" and verifies that it was engraved by John Adams Sr. The gun was then shipped to Doug Turnbull for bluing, and the grips were made by Dan Chesiak. Includes a Colt hardwood display case.

Very fine overall as master embellished by John Adams Sr. and finished by Doug Turnbull. Retains 99% plus of the blue finish with limited handling marks and some red coloration at the base of the left grip panel. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.
