Blade front and flat top, square notch rear sights, three-line two-block patent and manufacturer markings separated by the Remington-UMC logo on the left side of the slide, model marking on the right side of the slide, and large block letter serial number marking on the right side of the frame. Fitted with a long, smooth trigger, checkered slide catch and thumb safety, wide checkered hammer, short grip safety, and smooth, flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop. The left side of the frame is stamped with "E.E.C./eagle head/E1" above the magazine catch. Fitted with double diamond pattern checkered walnut grips and unmarked, two-tone blue, pinned base magazine. Includes invoice for restoration changes.

Very fine as professionally restored overall, with 99% of the dark, charcoal blue finish and just a few very light handling marks. The grips are also very fine with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. An attractive, two digit serial number, U.S. Army contract Remington-UMC Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol
