Fine-adjustable blade front and tangent rear sights, "1916" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension, with Imperial Eagle firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Minus the unnumbered wood magazine base, numbers are matching overall, including the grips. Proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings on the upper safety position and extractor respectively, with a pair of checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine. Included with the Luger is a proper style board stock (numbered to a different Luger), takedown tool, and a brown leather flap holster.

Very fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, mild spotting, a few areas of gray patina and mild handling marks. The straw finished components retain 30% of the bright original color, with most of the surface turning a mixed gray. The grips are fine with some dark spots and dings. The stock is fine, with moderate wear and cracking on the leather. Some stitching has been replaced on the holster. Mechanically very good.
