The brass barrel has "LONDON" on top, light engraving, and pre-1813 Birmingham private "crown/P" and "crown/V" proof and view marks. The lock has "Ketland/& Co" in script. The furniture is brass and has floral and border engraving. The stock has silver wire inlays around the upper tang.

Very good with mix of attractively aged patina on the brass components and brighter other components such as the barrel, mixed gray and brown patina on the lock along with some minor oxidation, and replaced front ramrod pipe. The reoiled stock is good with repaired cracks in the forend and wrist, additional minor cracks elsewhere, some replaced wire, and mostly smooth surfaces. Mechanically fine.
