Measuring 26 inches overall, with a 15 inch blade showing a faint temper line fitted into a two-piece habaki, a round iron tsuba with sculpted designs, gold accented fuchi, plain iron kashira, and a green cord wrapped grip with two lobster-themed menuki. The tang is unsigned, with three mekugi-ana. With a black lacquer finished saya. Blade is attributed by the consignor to the shinshinto period (1781-1876).

Good, with mild spotting and evidence of cleaning on the blade, and some wear and spotting of the furniture.
