Description:

These spurs were manufactured in the early 20th Century by the Kelly Bros. company, which was started by P.M. Kelly. They bear the standard "KELLY/BROS" mark near each of the lateral buttons. The upturned heel bands are each single mounted with a nickel goose wing with the gooseneck shanks nickel and copper mounted with the goose head design, ending in sawtoothed rowels. The leather straps are stamped with a knotted border pattern. Heel band width: 3/4" Shanks: 2 3/4" Rowel diameter: 1 1/4" Heel opening: 2 7/8".

Rating Definition:

Very good, showing a mottled grey brown patina, bright nickel mountings, and aged patina on the copper with scattered light oxidation and some mild wear. The leather is very good with some mild wear and minor cracking.
