Manufactured in 1888. The revolver has an extensive period floral and dot engraving. A bee is engraved on the recoil shield. The engraving on the left side of the barrel accommodated the now absent acid etched caliber marking. The left side of the frame has the three-line patent date marking. Matching serial numbers are on the frame, trigger guard and back strap.

Fine, retaining 60% period retailer nickel finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are also fine with limited chipping near the bottoms and attractive fiery color. Mechanically fine.
