GREULING, ESSLINGEN" in gold on the solid rib, double gold inlaid bands at the breech, blade and flip up leaf sights, extractor, 2 1/2 inch chambers, modified/full chokes, and rifle barrel gauges at 11mm. Casehardened receiver featuring extensive floral and game scene engravings, two deer on left side, two ducks on left side plate, bull elk on right side, hunting dog on right side plate, set rifle trigger, and tang selector. Checkered round knob pistol grip stock, engraved forearm hardware, cheekpiece, cross hatching engraved on buttplate with cartridge trap.

Very good. 60% of the Damascus and traces of original brown finish remain, otherwise the barrels have a smooth gray patina. The action has a smooth gray patina and a crisp engraving. The wood is fine with a couple hairline stress cracks, limited chipping, minor handling marks, slight separation of knots, and some blemishes/wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
