Browned, dovetailed Damascus steel barrels with a matte, concave, solid rib marked "CHARLES DALY EXTRA FINE DAMASCUS BARRELS DIAMOND QUALITY" with a single bead sight, 2 1/2 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, full/modified chokes, and no visible proofs on the barrel tubes or flats. The tubes are each marked with the early style Georg Lindner "crown/pistols" maker's mark. Casehardened scalloped box lock receiver with full coverage floral and scroll engraving on the sides around the "CHARLES DALY" banner with doll's head extension, cocking indicators, dual triggers, and automatic sliding tang safety. The underside of the receiver is engraved with detailed game scenes of a roe deer on a homestead, doves in the evergreens, and the trigger guard is engraved with a setter. Checkered walnut splinter forearm with Deeley style latch, engraved fittings, horn wedge, and pistol grip stock with checkered tear drop flats, horn grip cap, blank initial oval, and checkered horn buttplate. Bore and stock measurements (R/L): chambers measured at 2 1/2 inches; bores 9 inches from the breech measured at .724/.719; chokes measured .030/.018; minimum wall thickness .030/.035; drop at comb 2 inches; drop at heel 3 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 inches; weight 7 lbs. 7 oz.

Very fine. The barrels have 85% original brown finish with strong Damascus patterns, some dings around the muzzles and along the rib edge, clear rib markings, some light spotting, and a slight dent near the muzzle on the right barrel. The receiver has 70% original muted case colors (stronger in protected areas), sharp, detailed engraving, and some light spotting and darker patina on the trigger guard. The wood is also very fine with well defined, crisp checkering, small dings throughout, and some light chipping on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
