The barrels have light engraving at the breech end of the rib, and around the breech of each chamber. Satin, coin finished, self opening Holland & Holland style side lock action with nine pin locks, dual triggers, automatic sliding tang safety with gold inlaid "SAFE", side clips, removable firing pin discs, "GRULLA ARMAS" maker's marks on the locks and underside of the receiver, and rolled trigger guard with long tang. The receiver and locks feature full coverage, exceptionally fine scroll engraving with cross hatched shading. The trigger guard and tangs are engraved to match with "ROYAL" inscribed on the lower tang. The trigger plate is signed "A. ABAIEAR" to the right of the front trigger. Highly attractive, multi-point checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings, Anson push button latch, and straight grip stock with blank gold initial oval, and skip-line checkered bare butt. With leather Grulla takedown case with cloth and leather case cover. Bore and stock measurements (R/L): chambers proved and measured at 76mm (3"); bores 9 inches from the breech proved at 15.7mm and measured at (.621/.625); chokes measured at .010/.019; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 7/16 inches; length of pull 15 inches; cast-off; weight 6 lbs. 0 oz.

Excellent overall. 99% plus original, bright polished blue finish remains with just a few light handling marks. The engraving is detailed and sharp. The wood is also excellent with attractive, dark figure, crisp checkering, and just a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent with some light storage marks.
