The receiver ring, floor plate, and trigger guard feature detailed engraving of four the African "Big Five" big game animals including a black rhino on the right, bull elephant on the left, Cape buffalo on the floor plate, and a male lion on the guard. The left side of the receiver ring, and floor plate are both signed "LLAMBERT". With an exceptionally well figured pistol grip stock with fine checkering, floral carved accented borders, contrasting rosewood forend and grip caps, gold diamond on the grip end, raised cheekpiece, and vented Browning recoil pad. Excellent overall. The rifle has 99% original blue and French gray finish with sharp detailed engraving, and a few light handling marks. The stock has crisp checkering, sharp carvings, some very minor dings, and attractive figure. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with corner and edge wear, and storage marks.
