Description:

The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 6 1/2 inch barrel (scarce barrel length as 4 and 5 inches were standard), blue finish, butt swivel, and checkered non-monogrammed walnut grips when shipped to famed Wolf & Klar Co., Fort Worth, Texas, on May 12, 1927. Matching numbers on butt, cylinder and ejector shroud. Another Wolf and Klar shipped revolver in the same configuration, lot 3476 was shipped one week earlier. One of the earliest shipments of the Model 1926.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina and some minor pitting on the cylinder. Most of the original case colors remain. Grips are also fine showing minor handling evidence and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
