The factory letter states that the gun was shipped in its current configuration on May 20, 1996 from Colt's Engineering Archives Collection. It was held at the factory to be used for reference purposes by the Custom Shop, Engineering, and Historical Departments. Includes a Colt "wood grain" box.

Near new with frosted original nickel finish with light handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The box is good and missing one end flap.
