The factory letter states that the gun was shipped in its current configuration on May 20, 1996 from Colt's Engineering Archives Collection. It was held at the factory to be used for reference purposes by the Custom Shop, Engineering, and Historical Departments. Includes a box with hand numbered Colt end label.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue, minor handling evidence, and faint drag lines. The grips are very fine with light wear. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair with heavy wear.
