Description:

1) Prussian Navy Marked Colt Model 1851 Navy powder flask, approximately 5 1/2 inches long (excluding charger) and 3 inches wide. "KM/739" stamped into the face above the crossed long guns. Marked "COLTS/PATENT" with the cannon backed by an array of flags. 2) American Flask & Cap Co. Coat of Arms pattern powder flask, approximately 5 1/8 inches long (excluding charger) and 2 7/8 inches wide. This flask has a double sided motif of an eagle, flags, cannon, and naval paraphernalia. 3) Dixon & Sons pocket powder flask, measures approximately 3 3/4 inches (excluding charger) long and 1 3/8 inches wide. Red/brown lacquer body with brass cap and charger.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine, 10% original lacquer finish with smooth dark patina on the remainder. 2) Fine, a mix of smooth dark patinas with a dent in one side. Both have tight seams and function properly. 3) Excellent, showing 95% plus original red/brown lacquer finish with a few small dents. Tight seams and charger functions properly.
