Manufactured in 1891 with a Rocky Mountain blade front sight, the two-line factory address, an adjustable U-notch sporting rear sight, and "32 W.C.F." at the breech of the #1 weight barrel; "22" marked Schnabel tip forearm with ebony inlay, casehardened low wall thick side receive with grooved ring, the patent marking and script serial number on the lower tang, and single trigger; and smooth buttstock with casehardened crescent buttplate.

Very fine overall with 80% plus original blue and vivid casehardened finishes, strong original oiled finish on the wood, a small filled spot by a knot in the wood, some scattered minor marks and scratches, light edge wear, and slight handling and storage marks. Mechanically excellent.
