This rifle was manufactured in 1940 and has a single steel bead sight. The top of the receiver has been factory grooved like on a M42 shotgun. The left side of the Routledge bore barrel is marked "MODEL 61-22 L. RIFLE- / -FOR SHOT ONLY-" at the breech. The top of the barrel and receiver are stamped with a Winchester factory proof. The serial number "45189" is stamped on the frame and trigger guard with a "W" stamped beneath. The rifle is mounted with a grooved flat bottom forearm and a smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine with 90% refinished blue finish on the balance with some minor finish removed from on the bottom of the receiver, some finish wear on the refinished slide action bar and some light rub marks on the barrel and magazine tube from cycling. The revarnished wood is very fine with some finish wear near the toe, a few scattered minor scratches and a few scattered minor pressure dents overall. Mechanically excellent.
