Description:

Approximately 75,000 of these rifle-muskets were manufactured by Colt during the Civil War loosely based on the British Pattern 1853 "Enfield" rifle-muskets. This "1864" dated rifle-musket has the standard markings and features.

Rating Definition:

Fine, showing mostly bright finish with some patches of mottled brown-grey patina on the balance with a few patches of light pitting on the barrel bands and near the trigger. The reoiled wood is very good with clear markings, some scattered minor dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
