This flask is for a Colt revolving rifle or shotgun and a similar example is reference in Riling Flask book, page 202. Measures approximately 6 1/2" (excluding charger) long and 3 1/8" wide. "Coat of Arms" motif with crossed handguns over 13 stars, eagle, shield, flags, cannon, and naval paraphernalia. Charger marked "AM. FLASK & CAP". The flask has all four suspension rings on its sides.

Very good, with a mix of dark patinas and the majority of the fire blue finish remaining on the charger spring. A series of dents on the back side of the flask. Tight seams and properly functions.
