These selected serial number two S&W Pre-Model 27 revolvers are ten (10) numbers apart and will factory letter being special order shipped as a pair to Rex Firearms of New York City, the factory's exclusive distributor of S&W's fine and fancy revolvers of the 1950s-1960s period. Each revolver is fitted with a serrated red insert blade front sight, an adjustable square notch rear sight, target hammer, and factory smooth rosewood 1st type "coke bottle" flared S&W target stocks ("OSS", over size stocks). Matching serial numbers are found on the butt, cylinder and ejector shroud of each. Both revolvers are cased in a French fitted Rex Firearms rosewood case with red lining.

Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish showing minimal handling and faint cylinder drag line. 99% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent with only mild handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine showing minor handling/storage evidence.
