Description:

This is one of 250 or less .38 M&P snub nose revolvers manufactured in the mid-1930s with the 2 inch barrel, which is correctly stamped with the two-line S&W/caliber marking on the left side. Right grip panel numbered to a different revolver. Matching serial numbers are on the butt, cylinder and barrel.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes showing a faint cylinder drag line, limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. A huge opportunity to own the very best! Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
