Introduced in 1915. Matching serial numbers are found on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder and barrel. Comes with a correct and proper original box numbered to a different revolver and S&W "Caution" leaflet.

Excellent plus overall, retaining over 99% original blue and casehardened finishes showing a very light cylinder drag line, limited handling evidence and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with repairable split lid corners and retaining most of the end labels.
