Manufactured in 1979/80 and subsequently masterfully engraved by renowned engraver and founder and former president of the Firearms Engraving Guild of America, Ben Shostle, who has signed his work "SHOSTLE" in small lettering on the left side of the frame. The near full coverage engraving consists of a floral scroll pattern on a punch dot background. Fitted with stag grips. Comes with a S&W blue box (lacks a label) and tools.

Very fine as embellished by Master Engraver Ben Shostle, showing a few minor scratches. The attractive grips show limited handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
