Manufactured in 1957. The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 6 1/2 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered Goncalo Alves target grips when shipped on June 7, 1957, to Harvan Sporting Goods Co., New York City. Note factory letter incorrectly lists this revolver with a 5-screw fame; it has a 4-screw frame. Matching serial numbers are found on the butt and inside of the frame. Comes with a period correct black S&W .44 Magnum case.

Excellent, retaining 98% plus original blue finish showing very slight wear at the right side of the muzzle and light cylinder drag line. The grips are very fine with a chip at the trigger guard, otherwise limited handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with some minor handling/storage marks and a couple tears in the faded lining.
