Manufactured in 1937 and embellished by renowned Master Engraver Angelo Bee between 1975 and 1980 as confirmed in the accompanying Angelo Bee authentication letter. Bee has signed his work on the left side of the receiver: "ABEE" followed by his signature "bee" marking. The receiver, takedown collar and barrel at the breech are profusely engraved with a fantastic floral scroll pattern on a punch dot background accented with gold line borders. The sides of the receiver have wonderful and highly detailed engraved and gold inlaid bird game scenes: a dog and five grouse in a field scene on the left side and a fox and four pigeons in a field scene on the right side. Engraved and gold inlaid bands are featured at the barrel muzzle. The serial numbers, full choke marking and Winchester factory oval proofs are in gold. The highly figured walnut forearm and pistol grip stock feature fleur-de-lis checkering, hard rubber grip cap and Winchester buttplate. Single bead sight, 3 inch chamber, full choke, and length of pull of 14 1/8 inches.

Exceptionally fine overall as custom embellished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. 99% plus of the factory quality blue finish remains with sharp engraving, brilliant gold work, and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent
